We have been talking about Matariki and have found out a few key concepts about this time of year.One of the activities associated with Matariki is kite flying.
As part of our work around Matariki we read an lovely story about the 7 Kites of Matariki.
We used the illustrations to make our own kites and they are on display in our classroom.
